DRUTEX in the 80th Tour de Pologne
On 29 July, cyclists from 24 teams will start the great race in the 80th Tour de Pologne UCI World Tour. For the fourth time in a row, we have been named the Official Sponsor, Logistics Partner and Sponsor of the "Stage Winner" Classification.
The first names of the cyclists who will start the race in Poznań, where this year's Tour De Pologne will begin, are already known. Among them are the three winners of the race from recent years: Rafał Majka, Tim Wellens, João Almeida and Tobias Foss, the 2022 world champion. We support the Tour de Pologne for the fourth consecutive year.
More than 40 vehicles from the company's fleet will participate in this year's race to provide logistical support between the various stages of the event.
– Excellent logistics and fast operations have always been and remain our strength. DRUTEX vehicles cover thousands of kilometres every day, delivering windows, doors and roller shutters to customers in Europe. Experienced staff, efficient organisation and modern transport fleet allow us to offer customers up to 7-day order completion dates with delivery across the continent. Thanks to this experience, our logistical support of the Tour de Pologne is at the highest level. I would also like to mention that we have been supporting many sporting initiatives for many years, because the values embodied by sport - such as fair play - are very close to us in our everyday business activities. The Tour de Pologne is one of the most important sporting events in Poland and, moreover, a brand recognised worldwide, not only among cycling fans. This is also what unites us. "We are a global brand and our products are delivered to dozens of countries around the world, even as distant as New Zealand or Australia," says Gabriela Gusztyn-Popławska, PR Director at DRUTEX.
The Tour de Pologne is included in the elite cycle of the UCI World Tour, i.e. the cycling league of champions. The race is broadcast to nearly 120 countries around the world. For years, the event has attracted the biggest names in the peloton and elite professional groups, providing all fans with unforgettable experiences and emotions.
- The Tour de Pologne is the biggest annual sporting event in our part of Europe. We reach millions of spectators in different parts of the world. We are able to organise a world-class event also thanks to the fact that we can rely on partners such as DRUTEX. "I am proud that a great Polish company, a leader in its industry, is part of the Tour de Pologne family," emphasises Czesław Lang, General Manager of the Tour de Pologne, "I know what the preliminary starting list of the race looks like, there is no shortage of famous names. On the other hand, the nature of our race means that great stars are often born in Poland. On 29 July, we are setting off from Poznań on a route that I am very familiar with. We have been planning it carefully all year, and I am convinced that it will become an arena for exciting competition. There will be seven stages, and the winner will be announced on 4 August at Błonia Park in Kraków.
